Acid Reflux Natural Cure - Cayenne Pepper The Surprisng Spice

After our previous article on how cayenne pepper helps cure heartburn naturally I found this recipe of a guy who claims his wife cured her heartburn almost permanently*:
  1. Get some empty gelatin capsules from the drugstore and filled them with cayenne pepper.
MAKE SURE YOU WIPE OFF ALL PEPPER FROM THE OUTSIDE OF THE CAPSULES!!!
  1. Take 6 in the morning and 6 at night for 2 days
  2. Take 4 in the morning and 4 at night for 2 days
  3. Take 2 in the morning and 2 at night for 2 days
  4. Take 1 in the morning and 1 at night for the 7th day.
Although most people don' t feel anything after taking the capsules, if after taking them you have a warm feeling in your stomach, drink 1/2 glass of water.

This person used to go through one bottle of Tums each month and after 2 years of doing the treatment she has only used Tums once or twice.

This really works!!

Cayenne Pepper Heartburn Cure - The Surprising Alternative

Heartburn is quite common and almost everyone has experienced it already. This is not a serious health condition; however, you need to address it immediately especially if it keeps on bothering you on a frequent basis. The burning sensation caused by heartburn is due to the back up of acid to the esophagus. Certain foods cause heartburn especially if you like eating spicy foods. But did you know that cayenne pepper is an excellent cure for heartburn? Isn’t it an irony that a spicy food item can cure heartburn? If you want to know how to use cayenne pepper, you must have enough knowledge first.

Cayenne pepper is more commonly called red pepper and it is considered as a spice and a herb. The pepper is 12% capsaicin, that’s why it has a stinging sharpness. This spice/herb can aid digestion and contrary to what people say that spicy foods cause heartburn, cayenne pepper will do you good. For healing purposes, you will need to use the uncooked, dried, and powdered cayenne pepper because if you cook it, it can further irritate the digestive tract. By drying the pepper, the acids are eliminated as well as its caustic effects. The dried cayenne pepper has antiseptic properties and it is considered as a stimulant. It contains high amounts of beta carotene and vitamin C. This spice and herb strengthens your arteries, nerves, and heart by regulating blood flow. Aside from curing heartburn, you can also reap other health benefits as well.

Today, cayenne pepper is available in capsules. If you want to take cayenne pepper capsules to cure heartburn, you must take it in the morning after eating your breakfast. For starters, make sure that you pick a low grade capsule, preferably 40 H.U. If you take large doses of cayenne pepper, it might induce vomiting. Try to take the capsule with lemon juice, molasses, or honey so that you won’t feel like vomiting. You can also take the cayenne pepper capsule together with hot water (just as hot as you can take it) so that the capsule will be properly absorbed. After that, don’t eat spicy foods and try to observe your body’s reaction. If you feel better, then you can continue using it. Monitor your progress to determine if your body is adapting to the cure.

It is still a good idea to consult your doctor before using cayenne pepper to cure heartburn. The dosage will depend on the severity of your heartburn. The doctor will also educate you on the possible side effects that you might experience after taking the capsule form. Cayenne pepper doesn’t work for everyone and by seeking medical attention, you will know what to expect.

With so many heartburn cures to choose from, you might find it hard to pick the right cure for your health condition. For many years, cayenne pepper has been used to cure different health conditions including heartburn. If you’re no longer satisfied with the effects of antacids and other conventional medicines, try using cayenne pepper for heartburn.
